Custom Kwaiken (Kalderum blades collaboration)

This knife began as a conversation between two makers. DB Blades and Christoph Feichtel of Kalderum Blades, one of Austria's most respected knifemakers

 The blade draws from the Japanese kwaiken tradition, reinterpreted through Chris's hand-forged S90V san mai. A high-performance S90V core jacketed in stainless steel, forged by hand in a process we believe Chris is the only maker in the world currently doing. The result is a blade that carries serious tool steel at its edge while the stainless jacket ages with a character all its own. This is a one-off collaboration. When it's gone, this specific combination of minds and materials won't be repeated.
